Coach Indiani joins Planet Swim with 25 years of coaching experience from all over the world. The Brazilian born has excelled in and out of the pool, as a swimmer and as one of the most decorated coaches in Brazilian Swimming.
Majority of his experience has come through founding the Pro-Record Swimming Club, where he served as a Head Coach/Aquatics Director from 1997 to 2004. This project was a public-private partnership with SESI of São Bernardo do Campo, in São Paulo, Brazil, and focused on developing a year-round competitive swim team using the Swim School program as a foundation to develop regional, national, and international champions. During it’s 8 years of existence, the program registered over 1,000 swimmers per month and produced a few world championship medalists. In 2007, the project was awarded by the city of São Bernardo do Campo along with SESI as an example of citizenship and athletic development.
Coach Indi (his new American nick-name), comes to Planet Swim focused on sharing his experience with our staff while assisting the program to grow both in quantity and quality.
